As a bookworm when I find myself in a reading slump (because of stress, being tired, mental health stuff etc etc) but I still want to read, I reread old favorites. If that doesn't help then I just stop reading altogether and just immerse myself in video games or tv....but it works most of the time.
I really like to meditate to rest my brain and charge up the batteries. Not for a long time, usually just 5 or 10 minutes per day. I've also found taking short walks outside without music or devices can be very restful.
That's interesting I've never tried meditating. I don't think I would have the patience.. And I definitely agree when it comes to walks without devices or music!!
